To promote a sustainable factory model and reduce electricity costs, the client installed an 500KW solar PV system on the metal sheet rooftop of an industrial facility in the Philippines. Located in a coastal region, the site experiences high humidity, intense heat, and frequent typhoons—posing significant environmental challenges for rooftop solar installations.
SoEasy designed a custom aluminum mounting solution specifically for metal rooftops. The system is engineered for high corrosion resistance and wind load durability, making it well-suited for tropical conditions. Its modular structure and ease of installation also contributed to a rapid deployment process, significantly reducing on-site labor time and improving construction efficiency.
In addition to the mounting structure, the project was equipped with the SoEasy Cable Tray System, which plays a crucial role in the overall cable management plan. Made from lightweight and durable aluminum-magnesium alloy, the cable tray ensures safe, organized, and weather-resistant routing of PV cables across the rooftop. This greatly reduces the risk of cable damage due to exposure or weather, while also enhancing long-term system performance and maintenance efficiency.

From the initial technical proposal to final installation, SoEasy provided full support throughout the project. The client expressed high satisfaction with the structural reliability, seamless integration of the cable tray system, and the professional and responsive service from the SoEasy team.
Now fully operational, this rooftop solar system not only provides the factory with clean, renewable energy, but also serves as a model project for industrial solar applications in Southeast Asia.
