On April 2nd, Yan Mingxian, Structural and R&D Engineer at SoEasy (Xiamen) Technology Co., Ltd., returned to his alma mater—Chengyi University College of Jimei University—at the invitation of the university to deliver a keynote speech at the “Siyuan Alumni Forum.” Speaking to students from the Automation program, Yan shared insights on the latest trends in the photovoltaic (PV) industry, technological innovations, and his own career development journey.

As a 2015 graduate of the Automation program at Chenggi University College, Yan has spent years specializing in the research and development of PV mounting systems. He is the lead developer of keyproducts such as adjustable tripods and aluminum alloy hooks, andhas co-developed innovative solutions including mechanical waterproof carports and vertical mounting systems. These achievements have been showcased at the Tokyo International Photovoltaic Expo inboth 2024 and 2025, highlighting SoEasy’s strong capabilities in technological innovation.
