Electrical Safety and Lightning Protection<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>People and machinery move under live DC circuits every day, so safety demands a zero-tolerance approach.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Equipotential bonding:<\/strong>\u00a0Connect all metallic components\u2014the agrivoltaic support system frame, cable trays, inverter housings\u2014into a single continuous grounding grid.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Lightning protection:<\/strong>\u00a0You can use the metal framework as a natural down conductor, but first verify its continuity and current-carrying capacity. This prevents dangerous side-flashing to crop structures or personnel.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Cable management:<\/strong>\u00a0Route all DC cables inside protective conduits or elevated trays well above the human reach envelope.
