Thailand Floating System 200KW
about project
This 200kW floating solar project is located on a medium-sized reservoir in Thailand, aiming to utilize idle water surfaces to generate clean energy. With limited land resources, the client sought a reliable and adaptive floating PV solution. SOEASY’s Aqua FPV floating mounting system was selected for its excellent performance in aquatic environments, enabling the project to achieve stable and sustainable power generation.
Advantages of the Aqua FPV System
The Aqua FPV system is made of high-density polyethylene (HDPE), featuring outstanding UV resistance, corrosion resistance, and aging durability — ideal for Thailand’s tropical climate.
- Modular design for rapid deployment: Its modular architecture allows for quick assembly and flexible layout, significantly improving installation efficiency.
- Seamless and watertight: Manufactured using advanced blow molding technology, the floaters ensure complete sealing, long-term buoyancy, and operational safety.
- Lightweight yet robust: The system combines low weight with high structural strength, adapting easily to lakes, ponds, and reservoirs.
- Long-term reliability: Backed by a 25-year performance guarantee, Aqua FPV ensures durable support for utility-scale and off-grid floating PV applications.
Implementation & Results
SOEASY provided a comprehensive design and technical support plan, including layout optimization and installation guidance. The entire process — from transport to on-site assembly — was smooth and efficient, with construction time significantly shortened compared to traditional floating installations.
Now connected to the grid, the project delivers clean, stable electricity to nearby communities and agricultural facilities. The client expressed strong satisfaction with the design quality, installation speed, and material resilience of the floating solar system, and is looking forward to further cooperation on future water-based projects.
