Leveraging its strong design capabilities and extensive project experience, SOEASY delivered a customized 23.1kW waterproof solar carport solution for a client in Indonesia. This project successfully combines energy generation, structural aesthetics, and practical utility, contributing to a more sustainable lifestyle.
Tailor-Made Design for Tropical Climate Challenges
Located in Indonesia, where the climate is typically hot and humid with frequent rainfall, this project posed strict requirements for both waterproof performance and structural durability. After a comprehensive analysis of the site conditions and customer needs, the SOEASY engineering team designed an efficient, multifunctional solar carport system that provides shade, generates electricity, and withstands the challenges of the tropical environment.
The system features a 3-row by 14-column module layout, with a total capacity of 23.1kW. This array configuration optimizes the use of space, ensuring both full vehicle coverage and maximum solar output.
Professional Structural Design Ensures Stability and Aesthetics
The carport adopts SOEASY’s self-developed aluminum waterproof structure. All profiles are made from high-strength T6-grade aluminum alloy, and the entire system has been structurally optimized through mechanical analysis to ensure outstanding performance in strong wind, high heat, and heavy rainfall conditions.
Key components such as 90×130mm main beams and columns are used to enhance load-bearing capacity and improve long-term durability. The design also incorporates a modular connection system with concealed fasteners, ensuring a clean and modern appearance without compromising strength.
Advanced Waterproof System for Superior Performance
Waterproofing was a top priority in this project. SOEASY’s design team implemented a dedicated aluminum drainage system that efficiently channels rainwater away from the modules and structure. A series of 75×20mm water channels are integrated seamlessly into the system, paired with precision sealing techniques to prevent leakage, backflow, or accumulation. This solution delivers excellent performance even during the region’s intense downpours, ensuring a secure and user-friendly experience.
Comprehensive Grounding for Safety
To ensure long-term operational safety, SOEASY included a complete grounding system. Grounding clips and aluminum grounding kits were strategically placed throughout the structure to meet international PV safety standards. This thoughtful design enhances overall system reliability while making maintenance easier for the client.
