SOEASY provided a 1450KW ballasted flat roof solar mounting system for the iconic GRAND INDONESIA shopping mall in Jakarta. As one of the largest commercial complexes in Indonesia, the project required a reliable and efficient solar solution that could be installed without altering the existing building structure.

Considering the rooftop’s flat surface and waterproofing layer, the mounting system was secured using concrete ballast blocks, ensuring system stability while avoiding roof penetration. The structure was designed with optimal tilt angles and row spacing to maximize energy generation under the local solar conditions.

The entire system utilized high-strength aluminum materials, offering excellent resistance to corrosion in Indonesia’s humid tropical climate. Pre-assembled components helped speed up the installation process while minimizing disruption to mall operations.

This project represents a successful application of SOEASY’s flat roof solutions in large-scale commercial settings, contributing to Indonesia’s transition toward greener energy.
